Susan Hanlon Ferrer is a voice teacher and a singer, and maintains a private voice studio from her home in Allen. She is Tom McKinney’s Associate Voice Teacher in the Dallas Metroplex.
Susan earned her M.A. in Voice from The University of North Texas where her graduate studies centered around vocal pedagogy and commercial vocal techniques. Susan is currently a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), APME (Association for Popular Music Education) and TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association).
In 2013 Susan released her first vocal jazz album, Lovely Ride, on the Armored Records Label. She is currently working on an EP of original material with hopes of releasing it in 2018.
As a vocal instructor, Susan has helped hundreds of singers to find a comfortable way of singing in their preferred genres of music. Many of her students perform professionally and others utilize their vocal training as audio engineers, worship leaders and instructors. With 13 years of private voice teaching and 8 years of college commercial voice teaching under her belt, Susan can enable singers to progress quickly.
